William Quinn Barrett
Background Check

William Quinn Barrett, born sometime in the last half of the 20th century, is that rarest of rarities ~ a Southern California native.

William was in the right place at the right time when at the original Renaissance Faires in the 1970's, the impressionable youth fell in love with performing and reaped the benefits of the revival of interest in the timeless arts of juggling, physical comedy and improvisation.

Here he co-created Cock and Feathers, a neo-vaudevillian comedy / variety troupe which came to enjoy near legendary status in the genre, and inspired many successful performers to follow. C & F still occasionally reunite to perform "just one more" farewell performance.

Barrett went on to perform at virtually every Southern California theme park including Disneyland, Universal and Knotts. He has dazzled millions of fellow humans at thousands of special events, corporate and private alike.

In the last decade of the last century he became a charter member of Lou Wow and the Poi Boys - America's favorite novelty band on stilts. Arguably the best stilt walking trombone player with the middle initial of "Q", William and the other boys put the fun back in music, while admittedly removing some of the musicality.

William clearly loves and understands children. He is devoted to his son Bucky {just entering double digits} and grown daughter Amanda, {of the musical group The Ditty Bops}, who has inherited her Dad's height and love of performing.
