We supply music for film, television, video games, commercials, Broadway, other recording artists, corporate uses, internet, etc. We are a music publishing and production company and a music library. We are not a traditional record label - we offer a showplace on this site for artists on our roster to promote themselves and sell their merchandise and can assist you in getting your record on the market, but we do not grant traditional record deals. We do not represent actors or models or dancers, nor do we shop scripts. We represent music, musicians, songwriters, singers, music producers and engineers, composers and sound designers. If you do not fall into these categories, please do not submit. Thank you.
As of 9/01/04 - these are our new submission guidelines:
We accept music in every genre. Please email two or three abbreviated clips (approx 1 minute in length) of your best broadcast quality work to submissions@rocketcityrecords.com Please title them in this manner: RECORDINGARTIST_SONGTITLE.mp3 Each clip should be less than 2 Meg, do not send more than 3 clips. Files may be MP3, Real Audio, or Real Media only. Submissions must be broadcast quality - not demos! Please provide a link to (or include in the email) a bio and good quality photo. Include you contact info! Your material must be unencumbered and available for licensing. We will contact you if your submission is accepted. Once your material is accepted, you are required to send a hard copy of your songs to our address below. These must be on CD or CDR only. Regular audio CDs, not MP3s. You must include your contact information, both on your paperwork and on your recordings. Thank You!
