Shawn Bossick, guitarist, songwriter, producer and engineer, has been playing and recording music since 1977. His career was launched in 1985 when he opened up DIAMOND STUDIOS, a professional recording facility. Over the last 18 years, Shawn has worked on and recorded hundreds of artists and bands ranging from rock, pop, country, hip-hop, punk, etc. Although he has made his living as a producer and engineer, he is first and foremost a songwriter. Playing guitar, keyboards, bass and drums he has written hundreds of songs in his career, selling many of them to his studio clients, however, he still manages to write for his own band Vybe Trybe.

Vybe Trybe was formed in 1997 and has played the L.A. circuit extensively; the height of their career was playing the Rose Bowl on Fourth of July in 2002. Their first album was entitled "For You". Shawn anticipates their second album to be released late in 2003. Creating and mixing modern machine sounds with good old fashioned microphone techniques, Shawn Bossick and Vybe Trybe together, prove to be a force to be reckoned with.
