In Honor of Sandy West...
10/25/06
Sandy's family has asked us to share this information with everyone.
There will be a private funeral this weekend, family only. They've asked
that their wish to grieve in seclusion be honored. However, if you would
like to send flowers, they would be welcomed. The flowers should be sent
to Forest Lawn in Cypress, California, and should be directed to arrive by
Friday afternoon. Forest Lawn has it's own florist on premesis, and flowers
can be ordered via their website: www.forestlawn.com
There will be a public memorial on Saturday, December 9th, in Hollywood. Her family
will be present, and her friends, fellow musicians and fans are all welcome
to attend Sandy's public memorial, so, once again, please let's allow the
family their privacy for her funeral. We will make an official announcement
regarding Sandy's memorial in the next couple of weeks.

Share Sandy's Music ~
Another worthy tribute to Sandy - consider that for the average price
of a bouquet, you could buy 5 copies of "Live in Japan" and share them
with people who may not have had the pleasure. Help us keep Sandy's legacy
alive...spread the music for which Sandy was most proud! The below links
will take you to Amazon.com.
Sandy West Merchandise ~
Rocket City Records has a VERY small number of autographed Sandy photos
left in her web store. As per Sandy's wishes, the proceeds from the sale
of these remaining photos will go to her dear friend Jan Miller, who shared
her home with Sandy and was her primary care-giver in the last months of
her life, to help defray the overwhelming expenses incurred for Sandy's care.
Less than 2 dozen signed photos remain.

Coming Soon ~
Many people have expressed interest in purchasing copies of Sandy's
long out-of-print 4 song CD, "Sandy West - The Beat is Back". The family
is aware of the demand for this CD and plans to re-release it in the near
future. We will let you know when it becomes available again. A commemorative
T-shirt is also under discussion.
Thank You ~
