October 2000 Events

Hello Friends!  We've been out of town for several weeks now, and will be so for the rest of the month too, but we wanted to check in with you and let those of you who haven't had the opportunity to join us on our travels  see what we've been up to...so here's some fun pix we hope you will enjoy.  Hope to see you soon!

Hollywood Collectors Show - October 7th & 8th~

(Left)  Ian Mitchell, guitarist of The Bay City Rollers, poses in front of his new wheels, AKA 'THE BATMOBILE' from the 60's TV show!

(Above) Ian Mitchell and wife Wendy brave their first autograph convention.

Runaways' vocalist Cherie Currie showed up briefly to wish her mom Marie Harmon well and allowed me to grab a coupla pix of her with former "The Mix" bandmate Ian Mitchell.  She was so mobbed she couldn't stay long, but we plan to have the entire Currie family of actresses appear at this show in late January.  Check back for detalis!

Scotty Schwartz has barely changed since his "child actor" stints in film and television.  We all remember him from his lead role in "The Toy" where he starred alongside legends Richard Pryor and Jackie Gleason.  This month A&E premiered Scott's "Biography" program...a must see!

The two hunkiest boys in the Celebrity Ballroom:
Ian Mitchell & Wil Wheaton (Wesley Crusher)
from Star Trek - The Next Generation!

Wil let us in on a secret...he's an accomplished Blues harmonica player!!  We've gotta get him to play on some of our future recordings!

(Above) Marie Harmon appeared in over 2 dozen films before becoming a full-time mom to her daughters, Cherie, Marie & Sondra Currie!  Look closely and you can see the pic of her with co-star Roy Rogers next to her shoulder.

(Right)  Shirley Buchanan was a regular on several series', alongside Groucho Marx, Johnny Carson and more!  A pic of her with Frank Sinatra is in the foreground from the radio show she hosted out of the world famous Capitol Records Tower!
