Squeezebox - May 18th, 2001

Cherie backstage pre-show with an old pal, um, what's her name again?

Toilet Boy's lead vocalist Miss Guy often claims he based his look on a combo of Cherie Currie and Debbie Harry... Wow!  Think Guy's jazzed to be sandwiched between both these lovely ladies?  Hey, who wouldn't be?!
Plasmatics' Guitarist Richie Stotts made a rare appearance in his nurses uniform to play alongside Debbie and the amazing Toilet Boys!  Rock On, Richie!!

Miss Guy autographs Sandy's Calvins ~
(CK was a sponsor of the show) Sandy donned them right over her leathers and even wore them on stage...you should see what people signed on her butt!

...da hell?

Steve Saparito directed the documentary being filmed about Squeezebox that eve.

Cherie does a backstage interview with one of the 200 different media entities present this evening.  Articles should be appearing for months! Please let us know what you find!

Our friend and superfan, Omid with Cherie.

Patrons waited forever to bid goodbye to the awesome seven year run of Squeezebox. The club was packed with over 1,000 people in a space which should comfortably only hold around 350, so, while waiting for showtime, Cherie went outside to greet several hundred fans who sadly wouldn't get the chance to come in.

The Toilet Boys burn up the stage...with some help from Plasmatics' Richie Stotts on right.

On stage at last!
The girls performed "American Nights" and "Cherry Bomb".
Seemed like everyone in the audience knew the words and sang along!

Cherie was happy to be performing once again with the Squeezebox house band, they totally rock!!!

Ronnie, pictured here with Sandy and Cherie, organized this trip (and our last one too),
along with Lyle Derek from Spa.  Hugs and kisses to both of these amazing men!

And off to the airport we go...thanks everyone for a wonderful trip to New York City!
