Lesser lights might be stymied by such a diverse
wealth of gifts, but multi-instrumentalist/ composer/ singer/ actor/ dancer/
choreographer/ playwright Everett Bradley deftly integrates his dizzy-making
array of talents with pitch-perfect instincts and a riveting, big-hearted
performance style.
It's a matter of focus and chemistry. Whether beating the skins and harmonizing from the stage, firing U.K. charts with a dance music hit, aiding and abetting the studio efforts and concerts of pop giants like Jon Bon Jovi and David Bowie, or leading the cast of "Swing," the breathtakingly inventive Broadway show he helped create, Bradley gives it 200% and wraps it all up in a broad, luminous smile. "I call myself 'this, that or the other' whenever I'm asked what kind of music I do or what kind of performer I am," quips the Indiana native. "I haven't quite figured that out, because I just go from project to project. I'm a chameleon." |

Bradley appeared in the 1996 Oscar-nominated
short feature "Brooms," (that was based on the Broadway show "Stomp", in
which he also co-starred) and produced by Quincy Jones. His percussion work
on the tune "Stomp," also included on Jones' "Jook Joint" CD, won him a GRAMMY
nomination.
Among Bradley's writing contributions is the show-stopper number from the Broadway musical Swing, "Throw That Girl Around," featuring Bradley singing, dancing, and playing percussion. The show, which opened November 2, 1999 at the St. James Theater, to universal critical acclaim, was nominated for 6 Tony Awards. Bradley was singled out in 2000 by the Friends of New York Theatre [Fany Awards] for "Outstanding Individual Performance" and selected by a panel of top theater critics for the prestigious Theater World magazine's "Outstanding New Performer" Award. |

Bradley's "I Luv U Baby" single and video both
flew to the number 2 spot on UK charts. As the voice and face for the project
now named "The Original," Everett toured Japan and Europe in support of what
is now a dance music classic, included in 64 compilations thus far. A second
single, "B 2 Gether," released Spring, '96, peaked at number 26 on UK charts.
Everett's next solo single, "Closer," releases in Germany through Sony Records,
Spring 2001.
In between juggling all of the above, Bradley managed to sing and play percussion on tours with Darryl Hall, Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Joey Ramone, Verve's Chris Botti, Cyndi Lauper, as well as play percussion on "Seven," a track on David Bowie's "Hours" album. "Vices," a musical play he co-wrote, was nominated for 8 Jefferson Awards in Chicago. Bradley's single, "Whadify" was featured on Dawson's Creek's Season 4 famous "Promicide" episode and will be out on DVD presently. Everett's latest independent effort is a spectacular and soulful original Christmas CD which is available for licensing via our music library. Click to download samples! |
