Back in 1993 when the Chiller Theatre convention moved to a larger venue, a ballroom became available and promoter Kevin Clement asked his friend Chris Palmerini if he could help put together a band so he could put on a costume ball. Thus was the birth of the Dead Elvi! Little did they think that 10 years later they'd still be performing, appear in several movie soundtracks, have a cut on a Rob Zombie CD, and appear on at least a dozen Something Weird DVD's.

The band, who's line-up consists of Kevin Clement on guitar, Chris Palmerini on lead guitar and vocals, John Kullberg on lead vocals and guitar, Tom Seesselberg on drums, and Steve Geller on Bass and vocals, have performed with numerous national acts, famous musicians and celebs alike and have developed a large cult following. They're now working on their third CD.

If you can, try to make it out to a Chiller Theatre convention to catch their act. You won't be disappointed. You never know who'll pop up on stage with them. In the past they've been joined by Mick taylor from The Rolling Stones, Ray Manzarek from The Doors, Cherie Currie and Sandy West from the Runaways, famous illustrator William Stout, Sabastian Bach, Richie Scarlet, Billy Mumy and Mark Goddard from the TV show "Lost In Space", Jeff Conaway from "Taxi" and "Grease", and of course, Zacherley, the Cool Ghoul.
